Deepak’s favourite words in life are ‘seeker’, ‘artist’, ‘boundless’, ‘energy’, ‘potential’, ‘creativity’ ……. And these are also words that make him, him.Apart from being a life skills educator, interacting with more than 1500 differently abled (visually impaired, physically challenged, autistic, deaf and mute and other special cases), aged, tribal and under privileged people, from the ages 4- 96 years old, all across the country in 2013 alone; Deepak Ramola is a gold medalist in Mass Media studies from the University of Mumbai.He has been working as a life skills educator since the age of 17 all over India and serves as a visiting lecturer at many colleges and schools in Mumbai. He has taught students from Academy of Architecture to one of the most prestigious and oldest schools, Dr. Graham’s home in Kalimpong, West Bengal.He has gained his experience in theatre after having worked with National School of Drama, Quasar Theatre Productions and No License Yet and has interned with both print and electronic media houses (Garhwal Post, Times of India and CNN IBN).
As an actor, he has worked in Rajshri Production’s “Isi life mein”, with Salman Khan in “Bodyguard” and in the show “Sasural Simar Ka” on Colors.As a spoken word poet, he has participated, performed and won many poetry slams and Open Mic in Mumbai. Acknowledged and appreciated for his sensitivity, originality and word play in his poems.As a lyricist, Deepak is working on eight feature films slated to release later this year and early next year. He currently works as a Creative Executive producer and Script Analyst for a production house in Mumbai and continues to conduct theatre workshops for NGO, school and college students all across India. Deepak uses his multi-faceted experiences and multidimensional talents towards channeling everyday
wisdom and experiences into easy to imbibe and apply, life lessons.
