Scientist & Innovator
Krtin is currently a school student at Sutton Grammar School. His fascination with science started at an early age when he underwent a series of operations. Krtin was fascinated by the breakthrough technologies developed by scientists that were employed by doctors to deliver cutting-edge healthcare on a daily basis.
Krtin’s research on Alzheimer’s disease received international recognition at the international Google Science Fair 2015 held at Googleplex in Mountain View, California.
Krtin’s breast cancer research also received international recognition and he was named one of 9 Young People Changing the World by VSO International. Krtin now works with the Institute for Research in Schools to encourage students to undertake scientific research and to show people that age is not a barrier when it comes to innovating and exploring the world of science.
