The week will unfold as follows, with each day centered on a unique theme.
Hear from and be inspired by major icons during interviews with a diverse range of speakers who are making world-changing impact; check out the on-demand content; join workshops (known as Discovery Sessions) to learn about something new or dive deep into a topic you already love; take part in the live Q&A; and join the community chat (based on pass type — see pass details below for more details).
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
Marta Bernardino is a 19-year-old Portuguese inventor whose field of expertise is developing robots to scale nature conservation efforts.
To date, Marta records a 10-year background in self-taught robotics, having built her first robot at the age of 9 using recycled plastic and motor fans. Growing up in the countryside, she experienced the drastic change of ecosystem destruction, from beach pollution to deforestation. So since then, she has used her robotic skills, combined with a passion for problem-solving, to develop solutions for her community. Today, she focuses her work on nature conservation and protection, and is the youngest nominated conservation roboticist explorer at *National Geographic*.
Her portfolio in conservation robotics ranges from designing a surface water robot to combat offshore plastic pollution to co-developing a seaweed monitoring robotic system that tracks biomass growth and water quality. In a nutshell, her work focuses on developing robotic technology that restores or protects ecosystems—whether as proprietary work, consulting projects, or corporate collaborations—always with a focus on long-term environmental impact. Notably, her work includes **SONDA**, an autonomous buoy she co-developed that uses beam technology and noise-cancelling techniques to eliminate noise pollution in marine protected areas, enhancing fish fertility and conserving cetacean communication.
She is also the co-founder of Trovador, a Portuguese startup developing autonomous reforestation robots for hazardous, remote, and degraded locations. As CEO of Trovador, she co-leads the mission of restoring her home country’s forests and reviving native canopies around the world. Trovador has been recognized by National Geographic and was nominated as a Leader in Sustainable Robotics by euRobotics.
