What if you could step beyond the stage lights – and discover who these changemakers really are?
About the Workshop
They’ve been called prodigies, pioneers, activists, innovators. But before all of that, they are humans – with doubts, fears, victories, and failures.
In this exclusive workshop, you’ll sit with the TEDxGateway Youth speakers face-to-face, in a private setting designed for real conversations. You’ll hear how courage was built stroke by stroke from an 11-year-old ocean swimmer. How a personal struggle became the fire for a teenager fighting for insulin. How music, robots, and AI became more than projects – they became lifelines.
No press. No scripts. Just them, and you.
What You’ll Take Away:
• Stories that never make it to the stage – the messy, real, behind-the-scenes journeys.
• Practical lessons on how to start your own journey as a young changemaker.
• An unmissable chance to understand why and how they do what they do.
• A once-in-a-lifetime memory of meeting tomorrow’s leaders before the world does.
IThis is the most unfiltered access you’ll ever get. Don’t miss it.
We're looking for ideas that change attitudes, minds, lives, your region, even the world. That means we want to learn about ideas and projects that are new, unique, and can offer an insight or a new way of thinking to a very large audience. Get creative. Show us what sets you apart!
We want something that’s authentically you: Fresh, creative, different. It could be:
Think big! Give us something we haven’t heard before (check TED.com to verify) and avoid straightforward self-promotion. We’re looking for intriguing, funny, insightful, imaginative, beautiful, jaw-dropping, inspiring, persuasive, filled to the brim with possibility.
Some talk pitches come over as annoyingly earnest or not particularly credible.
Here are some examples that we would likely NOT consider:
A handful of seats. A room full of bold ideators. Apply to attend TEDxGateway Youth 2025 in Mumbai alongside a growing circle of young thinkers, doers, and dreamers from around the world. Sometimes, just being in the room changes everything.

Every year, TEDxGateway hosts conferences to bring together a global group of expert thinkers and doers across a wide range of fields to help share new ideas.
People from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world are welcome at TEDxGateway.
Yes! you can apply to speak for the 2026 edition as we have closed slots for 2025. We welcome original, honest, idea-driven talks from young minds solving real problems. We have closed the applications for this year, but your idea will stay in our database for the next edition.
If you know someone with an idea worth spreading - whether they’re a young innovator, artist, scientist, or changemaker - you can nominate them through our nomination form. Share their details, what makes their idea powerful, and why it deserves the stage.
